Re: Orders

But in your example, the sronax need to be under the hold order already for this to be true, right? If you lose initiative and your sronax is already on attack orders, will they get the chance to change orders in time?

Re: Lessons learned from KS 2?

@bloodwars I don't think you overstepped at all, I think you offered great constructive feedback, and I am with you on a lot of it. There are some things we don't know, that obviously Rob knows, which can make certain points less valid. Still, it is good feedback. Anyone who receives this thorough f...

Players in Kuala Lumpur?

Hi, I just moved to Kuala Lumpur last month and would like to hear if there are any Darklands enthusiasts except me over here? I'm staying for a few years, so would like to get some games in if I'm not totally alone ;)

Re: Darklands Models

Fabulous stuff all of it - Thanks for sharing Sorn!

Bloodmaw is my favourite. I didn't really like that model, now I just love it. Simply beautiful in its terrible-ness!

Re: Painting fur

Actually Broadfoot from Ax Faction Miniatures has a nice looking studio scheme. Wonder which colours was involved, some of the highlights are quite warm. Hm. Ponder, ponder.

Re: Painting fur

I think I see what you mean. I think I will go a little lighter black-brown on the entire pelt, then highlight extremes sparingly up to silvery grey possibly with a light bluish tint, then shade as you say. Looking at reference pics of black bears, the contrasts are really extreme with deep black sh...

Re: Painting fur

I am facing the same problem with Beowa atm. I started off optimistic and went for a dark black/brown basecoat as I wanted to paint the bear like a black bear. I then overbrushed lightly with various colours from dark brown up to deck tan vmc. It became way too light for me, so I washed the whole mo...

Re: AndyS Trolls WIP

Beautiful trolls! Looking forward to seeing the contest gallery at wamp in a couple of months time :)

Btw, what airbrush did you get, and can you recommend it? I'm contemplating getting one, but haven't got a clue about them..

Re: AndyS finished Darklands models

Oh yes, I have to join the chorus here - great work AndyS! I really like Creoda and the different hues on him. Yes, I agree Eirik's pants, the skintones, Meloda's face are also beautiful stuff, there's just something about Creoda that has been growing on me, and you have done such a great job on him...

Re: Darklands Models

Never like Bloodmaw until I saw his job! Great paintjob, and it stands out for me like a beacon, even though they are all good. As for sculpt, I also like the first brute (Falx?), although it is converted a bit, isn't it? It certainly adds interest, and the pose is very dynamic.

Thanks or sharing :)

Re: Aniku´s finished works

Great stuff Aniku :) Particularly like Hortak, but the nmm steel on both is expertly executed, great work indeed! I was thinking the same as AndyS, the white hair on Luz looks a bit off. I don't know if you have tried, but shade it a bit more with a hint of green in it. F.ex shadow grey (old gw) wit...

Norway

Hi there, we're a couple of Norwegians who have jumped on this wagon too :) We are in a phase where family and kids take up most of our time outside work, but we're looking forward to trying out this game when we get the chance. It'll be a good addition to the upoming Kingdom Death, Sedition Wars an...
