Re: Lessons learned from KS 2?

Congratulations on another great Kickstarter. I like how it is funding new miniatures rather than basically pre-ordering an almost completed box of minis. I admit it was a bit confusing trying to work out all the options but that only causes a problem if you found out about it an hour before it fini...

Re: KS2 Trade thread

Good point. Some of the KS2 backers might want an Urbad and I'm sure quite a few of us have spare ones of those.

Re: Angelcynn Ankle Issues

I think 3 of mine broke but they were all clean breaks that glued back together without leaving any obvious join.

The harder part was assembling Meloda.

Re: SteamHammer's models

Poor lighting but just to prove I am still alive. Just having a bad couple of weeks of real life getting in the way of painting.

Great work. Very natural looking (for an unnatural terror of course).

He looks awesome and even though mine would never turn out that nice I kind of wish I'd got him now.

Re: AndyS Mjagnir WIP

Thanks. Time to chop up an old brush to accompany the splayed drybrushing one I used.

Re: SteamHammer's models

Thanks. My attempts at stippling are so far failing. Just looks blotchy rather than the fine detail Andy S gets on his metal. More practice is needed. One more finished off:

Re: SteamHammer's models

Thanks. Any advice or links to tutorials on working with metals without doing NMM?

I was painting GW stuff a couple of decades ago but then took a very long hiatus and only started up again two years ago with Malifaux. So advice is always welcome.

SteamHammer's models

With such a high level of painting ability on display on the forum (so many beautiful models!) I'm ashamed at my attempts. But maybe posting these will give other beginners the courage to try. After all we can hopefully only get better. http://i1109.photobucket.com/albums/h438/SteamHammerMalifaux/Da...

Hello from the Isle of Lewis.

Yeah, I doubt I'll find anyone to play it with, but maybe I can convert some people.
