Re: Lines of sight

Cheating is often the best way! I think it might be best to tweak the wording slightly (one could, for example, include a reference to the relative base size of the target model and the intervening model in LOS rule 5) - if nothing else I'm not sure it always makes sense to read down the list as you...

Re: Lines of sight

Hello, Out of interest, how do you decide that the first rules covers this case rather than the second? As phrased both rules struck me as equally applicable so I thought you either ended up in a logical loop of death (gulp!) or applied both (which would presumably mean you line of sight is blocked)...

Re: Observations from a first read

Hello, I had a decent read of the rules over Christmas (although I didn't quite finish as work turned out to not completely agree that I was on holiday and is still rather busy so I've not caught up on hobby time just yet) and have come up with some extra comments. So, without further ado: 1.1 - Do ...

Re: Observations from a first read

Glad to have been of some help! It's been a little too long since I wrote that for me to remember what I meant in the sections that didn't make sense to you Rob but I'll read the revised draft carefully over Christmas and see if any new comments pop up or if I remember exactly what I was thinking in...

Re: Observations from a first read

Thanks for the responses. I realised that I never got round to reformatting the list of points I emailed you. Did they get through?

Will have a read of the revised rules, hopefully this weekend!

Re: Commanders and Authority

Worth noting that you only count the authority of the champion to see how much of a commander's command authority has been used up. You can therefore have 2 units of Dyndraig, not just two of the blighters. A big difference!

Re: AndyS Mjagnir WIP

I have been lurking for some time and (having finally logged on) wanted to say that your Norse inspired me to purchase the faction before the Kickstarter pricing finished. I'm looking forward to seeing how this shapes up over the next few weeks!

Observations from a first read

So, after spending a happy hour or two with the rules I've had a few thoughts/comments/queries/suggestions which I've set out below. Where possible I've put the clause references to steer the reader to the section I'm discussing. At the end are a couple of extra thoughts that popped into my end whil...
