Re: Muster Sheet Questions/Observations
Hi Valphaomegav, thanks for the response. Regarding the first point of the Demioption not ever being the general in that case, I agree with you and now think it is just a typo. For the second bit, you’ve verified what I understood, so thanks for that. Again, I think it is just a typo to call them Co...

Re: Muster Sheet Questions/Observations
I can't figure out how to edit, so here is one more question: what is the new Byzantii realm hinted at in the Muster Rules? Infernii can ally with any Byzantii realm! Edit: Found the edit button. Did you revise the Anglecynn Ceorls? I thought I previously recalled that Spear Ceorls were Mainstay, an...

Muster Sheet Questions/Observations
Hello all, this will be my thread to post questions or inconsistencies with the rules. First one: On the Byzantii Muster Sheet, under the Signifer's rule "Signum: The Host's Century" it implies that a Demioption can be the general if there is a Centurion or Demiurion or Option present. I t...

Re: Terran's Byzantii/Infernii PLOG
Hi Terran, I've never before seen pics of a painted scorpion or Equitus Durio on a horse. They look fantastic, and I plan to imitate your color scheme.
How did you choose the white/grey coloring of Durio's helmet crest? Is it based on anything historical or did you just like the look of it?

Those Kroks are as brutal as advertised. What did you think of the Goghu (the stone golem I think)? Was his offensive output useful, or is he primarily a tank? Thank you for submitting the write up with all those photos, it's really cool to follow along. Especially since your minis are all painted!

Hey Kharn, I think this is how it goes: General can retain with any unit in his command range if that unit is lively or alert. I haven't used the Werwulfas yet in a game. Do you like them? I used a Waelwulf Thegn with three Waelwulfs to chew up a Bog Beast and Taoisch (sp?). The offensive power seemed great coupled with high skill.

Direct Engagements with Scouts/Flankers
Hi all, I have another rules question... On page 155 Units under Scout or Flank orders can choose direct or indirect engagements. Direct engagements are broken into Charge, Trample and Slam. On page 135, Flank orders permit none of these things. Scout orders only allow you to Charge. Is this an erro...

Soaring: Flankers, Scouts or both?
On page 148, the rules say you can pre-position your Soarers in the sky as Circlers as long as they are under Flank orders. Very cool, I like this. Can Scouting units be pre-positioned in the same way? Page 135 says units under a Scout order can Soar, but doesn't mention being placed in the sky prio...

Re: Marching
Can a March action be taken by a unit under Flank orders? According to page 135, the answer is no. But page 146 indicates that they can. This is significant because it can potentially apply to your allied contingent which can be up to 1/3 of your host.

Rider Attack Range
On page 63 under Attack Ranges, it states that all riders' attack ranges are reduced by 1" whilst mounted to a minimum of 0". Now, that makes total sense to me when we talk about swords, daggers, etc. But what about lances? The Byzantii Centurion has a option to purchase a "Contus, La...

In the Byzantii musters, their combat weapons (Hellfists, Fist) are listed as borne instead of natural. Is this deliberate? This would seem to imply that their fists could be destroyed by Corrosion effects or some other means.

For the Anglecynn wulfas, freawulfas, and really all wolf-like creatures in general, it says they can Howl while off the board and under Flank Orders. In this case, if they Howl, it adds +1 to their Flank Roll. When they come on the board (if they pass the roll) in that same hour, do they also get t...
