I'll admit guys, I haven't listened to any of these, They all sound really interesting, but I'm very much a Visuals person so I couldn't sit through 90 / 120 minutes of just talking without having any visuals to relate to..

I believe in the Muster Rules that the General and Commanders Ubiqity is not counted when they are mustering units within their command.

The new Sronax muster doesn't look correct. On the old Muster the Brutal Club M+W was 74, and Horn Gore was 68, a respective Weapon + of 18 and 12. On the new Muster Brutal Club is 72 and Horn Gore is 56, but it also has a respective Weapon + value of 18 and 12, so shouldn't the Horn Gore be 66, no...

Looking through the Fomoraic Muster, think there is something seriously wrong with the Sronax unit.. Previous Muster Brutal Club and Horn Gore had a Might + Weapon respectively of 74, 68 and for the latter with M+W+Ch of 92 On new Muster it is, 17, 1 and 1... !!!! In the same way that a value of 9 is needed to Hit thus negating the extra attack die if a 9 is rolled.

Does a character with Quick Strike lose their extra die on rolling an 8 if 8 is the value required to Hit?

I fared better, second time around against the Frenzied units.. Kept my distance and pounding them with Ranged weapons, killed quite a few, still lost but mainly through making bad desicions rather than unit inferiority, the final straw that sealed my demise was when my Scion of Baalor blew himself ...

I really do like these sculpts of the Lizard Savra warriors with Swords and Javlins, and I would love to buy them, I don't like the rest of the Kthones though so building a Muster of just Savra units would be very limited...

You're the only person who's ever said (to me, or to my knowledge) that frenzied units are too powerful; almost everybody else I speak to won't use them because they know they can't control them fully. That's where I'm coming from really - one person having a problem with something is very differen...

May I just remind you all that Darklands is meant to be brutal... Cheers Rob Brutal, agree, but also needs to be fair... otherwise players will get bored of opponents fielding units they have no hope of beating.. Shouldn't base it on one game I know, and as you have said youv'e play tested frenzied...

Any way my co-player says he has a cunning plan for our next battle with Grizzles Ysians, my co-player is an experienced war gamer, so if with his cunning plan he still can't beat them then perhaps they are invincible...

I'm not saying that all frenzied units are imbalanced, it just seemed in the last game that the abhorrents seemed to be imbalanced, with high skill, what seemed like a crazy amount of attack dice and the quick strike rule, that combined with them never getting weary made then nigh on invincible... So to be sure that I am playing correctly, I may not be of course, a Unit can only perform a Breakthrough action if they have completely destroyed the unit they charged into, if at least 1 member of the unit remains the breakthrough action cannot be performed.

That has answered a few questions, but I would imagine that you need to keep Frenzied Units seperate from friendly none Frenzied units unless they stand the risk of attacking both friend and enemy.. We have performed separate attacks and deducting damage after each attack, potentially making the next attack weapon harder to parry....
