Re: Painting Ravens
James, I have scale 75 inktensity which has a nice satin finish. Army painter quick shade is another choice. If you don't have any inks you could use just very watered down standard blue acrylic paint. In all cases wick the water off the brush to prevent the paint pooling in the recesses as you want...

Base coat black. dry brush a medium grey all over. Then a more focused dry brush of a lighter grey to end of wings. Finish with a...

Re: Erainn WIP
Thanks Sven.
I'm really pleased with the progress that I've been making since getting back into painting. I might get my army on the table sometime in the next decade!
Cheers

Re: Erainn WIP
Hi JerzyK. Thanks, I'm still trying to get a "feel" for getting the contrast right. I know you are right about some colour variations. I am planning on getting the unit all to this sort of level then adding green for mossy look. I want to make sure I get the balance right across the group ...

Re: Erainn WIP
Thanks a lot guys, glad you like the big guy! Sven, I was well chuffed with you comments :) Glad you picked up what I was trying to do with the face to draw attention there. Blue Prophet, in all honesty I consider myself a newbie and haven't tried painting this way before. With regards to Caitrin's ...

Re: Darklands and Other Models
there are some really special paint jobs here. My personal favourites being Mjagnir, Gamla and Rollo (almost a big, medium and small fave). I'd be quite interested to know which model is the one that you get out of the cabinet time and again to oogle over Sorn.

Re: Muster - Missing/Wrong Elements Update October 2016
Hi Tailum. You need to refer to compel and influence muster rules. A warlord/war chief changes the Ubiquity of units in their command. For example Gul-Gabrax Untain - Compel(Gabrax, Gul-Gabrax) Influence (Gabrox). I.e. Gul-Gabrax (common (2)) and Gabrax (common) count as Mainstay (2) and Mainstay re...
