Re: Painting Ravens

Re: Erainn WIP

Thanks Sven.

I'm really pleased with the progress that I've been making since getting back into painting. I might get my army on the table sometime in the next decade! :)

Cheers

Re: Erainn WIP

Hi JerzyK. Thanks, I'm still trying to get a "feel" for getting the contrast right. I know you are right about some colour variations. I am planning on getting the unit all to this sort of level then adding green for mossy look. I want to make sure I get the balance right across the group ...

Looking great Sven. The texture on the 'robes' works really well.

Re: Erainn WIP

Thanks a lot guys, glad you like the big guy! Sven, I was well chuffed with you comments :) Glad you picked up what I was trying to do with the face to draw attention there. Blue Prophet, in all honesty I consider myself a newbie and haven't tried painting this way before. With regards to Caitrin's ...

Re: Darklands and Other Models

there are some really special paint jobs here. My personal favourites being Mjagnir, Gamla and Rollo (almost a big, medium and small fave). I'd be quite interested to know which model is the one that you get out of the cabinet time and again to oogle over Sorn.
