While we're here and discussing effects, I can't for the life of me find anything in the current musters that uses corrosion damage... I don't suppose you could point me at something that does? If Quick Strike causes 8s and 9s to be treated as Swift Strikes and generate the additional damage dice... do they also cause damage effects such as fire or cold on 8s and 9s? Oh I don't doubt they could use troll/Jotun sized oars, and I suppose if they're in transport vessels rather than the longships then I would imagine those vessels would be sized appropriately for the creatures they're transporting, oars and all.
