Re: Airbrush advice
What airbrush have you got? Harder & Steenbeck Evolution (2-in-1 kit, 2 needle sets, 0.2mm and 0.4mm) with a Euro-Tec 20A oil compressor (really quiet, weighs a ton though). Not exactly cheap, but should last a very long time with proper care. :D But I presume you also weren't particularly fast...

Re: Airbrush advice
Sounds like a lot of work for 6 models! I'll stick to priming from a can for now I think. More my incompetence, unfamiliarity with the new toys and the paint than any fault on part of the airbrush. This is new ground, so I took it slow and steady. With more confidence and practice it should g...

Re: Airbrush advice
Just tried my Airbrush for the first time, and I'm going to need some time getting used to this. Didn't get anything clogged thankfully, but I guess I was being too cautious. :) Did manage to mostly prime 6 minis in 2 hours. Unfortunately these were pretty small minis (28mm Infinity mode...

Re: Help me load pictures
Hello. I'm currently working on Kraan's polar bear. I have the base coats on and starting to apply some shading. My problem is, how do I stick my photos on here? On CMON I can upload from my PC, but not here. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks guys n gals Either you upload them to an ima...

that would be amazing.
I think it was listed on the KS store as being for December, and as we haven't seen any WIPs of it yet, I'm guessing that December is still correct.

Re: Azhrarn's MM Early Arrivals
They seem to have most colours in singles, just not triads. Thanks for the heads up on these. I've not used them before. How do they compare? Their consistency is nice, not too thick, so you'll need to thin them a bit whether you're using them for brush painting or airbrushing. They seem quite stab...

Re: Azhrarn's MM Early Arrivals
They don't seem to hold much paint stock! They generally don't as far as I've seen. They probably do most of their stuff to order, rather than keeping it in stock. Saves on storage space. They usually have a reasonable number of different triads in stock, but usually only 1 or 2 of a given triad. A...

Re: Azhrarn's MM Early Arrivals
Very nice! I'll have to look into those reaper triads. Hope they're available in the UK. Cool, found them at miniature heroes. Cheaper than the foundry triads I have too! Lol, you arrived there before I could finish the post below. ;) yes they are. :D The ones I ordered came from this UK site : htt...

Re: Azhrarn's MM Early Arrivals
And now finally, some progress on the paint. I've used Maaru as a test-bed for my recently bought Reaper triads. The skin is Reaper Golden Shadow, the mane is the entire Blond Hair Triad, starting with the Shadow and ending with the Highlight. http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p151/azhrarn-10...

Re: Maaru
Well, I doubt I'll get the shading done anywhere near that well, but good to see that Maaru looks good in Tan.
Very nice paintjob indeed.

Love the look, the drybrush with the verdigris is a bit rough, but it looks rather nice. ^_^

Azhrarn's MM Early Arrivals
Just a few pictures of my newly assembled Maaru, the Swordtooth. Fresh from his bath and scrubbing. Clean-up was fairly simple apart from one larger channel on the left hind leg. I damaged the thin resin belt back there quite a bit digging the thing out. I'll need to rebuild that with some green stu...

Re: Kickstarters that Might Interest you
Arena Rex' kickstarter as a small scale skirmish game looks pretty good, and the initial "buy-in" isn't that high either.
Very detailed resin miniatures.

Re: AndyS Trolls WIP
Considering you're an airbrush novice (and with many of us looking to get one) you're a great advertisement for those things. :D That troll looks really nice, you can really see the effect of the dual primer coat, which I hadn't really expected. Thanks for showing your work in progress, keep it up. ...

Re: Inspiration for my fellow Gorgonares! [IMG HVY]
What the hell is that last one? It looks like it was caught in an explosion in a glow stick factory. I'm guessing Mierce wouldn't want a similar thread for Melusines  That last one is an African Red Phase Bush Viper, according to TinEye and Google. They're pretty rare. The saturation on the co...

Re: Inspiration for my fellow Gorgonares! [IMG HVY]
Cool snakes, and indeed suited to the Gorgonares. :) I've also been looking at snakes for the scales on my Dyndraigs. http://i127.photobucket.com/albums/p151/azhrarn-101/JP7KEJJ.jpg I picked this one for the bright oranges, with reds and purples to go with it. :) Gives a nice "hot" i...
