Re: Trample Example (Check Please)
Since we're asking questions about trample again i thought it would be rude not to jump on the band (trample) wagon. If a trampler first contacts a unit at a point that is within his pace value but then continues to move through the unit such that he moves over his pace value while still moving thr...

The Ysians - a compendium
The degenerates of Ys , wholly damned by that decadent city and their Queen Euryalia, who is and yet is not the Horned God upon the earth; the treacherous Drunes of Kernow, kinslayers and betrayers, stubbornly holding to their brooding fortresses even as the rest of Prytain suffers; the remnants of...

Thanks fellas, those answers really helped a lot. The MOVED THROUGH unit can only react with a reflex attack action, IF the MOVING THROUGH unit is of course large and strong enough to do so. Cheers Doc for the example - wonderful stuff. Hope Arthurs' not been keeping track of where all my questions ...

OK, but they REALLY should have done, right? I mean, that would have been the correct next thing to do wouldn't it? This also leads me to a question thats been baking my noodle... Re: 499pts Arthur vs Geoff first game
What do you think of it so far? For me, it's too early to say. The miniatures are undoubtedly superb and they've been (and continue to be) a fun and challenging excercise to get on the table. We're only just able to begin wrestling with the rulebook now we have a small host to field. And I do mean ...

Re: Trample Example (Check Please)
This is necro-ing an old thread I know but just reading this I'd like to ask a quick question, which is, at the moment the player declared his intention to directly engage, why didn't the second Wihtgār unit immediately announce a reaction?

Ahh, that's me assuming damage was the result of an attack, hence being part of the Attack results, hence not being applied! In regards to the re roll every hour (turn) is started with one player having the initiative. Say hour 1 player A got inititative, in hour 2 player B gets the re roll. If Player B is successful they gain the initiative and Player A would get the re roll hour 3. However if player B busts (rolls high...

Re: Initiative and Reform questions
Thank you for another thorough reply Doc. I'll wait for Rob to clarify the ins-and-out of the Reform move, because as it stands it could well be used to move a unit up to 6" before it takes its own vigorous or wearying action for the hour. If this is acceptable and intentional, fine, but I'd li...

Yep, Brugg was totally fine with the snow. First time he's washed his feet I bet. Was thinking more of the smaller units, including some of the Gabrax (small sheep dudes) that could have been slowed by it.

Re: Initiative and Reform questions
As per my understanding of reform move, you have to end your movement within join distance of another warrior within the unit, this would apply also to the first moving warrior. So it would allow the warriors lagging behind catch up, but it's pretty hard to move forward, especially if you're reform...
