Without the exact wording in front of me the ability states something along the lines of in with goad weapons range so would only be the ones in combat range.

Some are area effect spells so don't need a target as such, Hell pit is an example, you're just causing something on the ground to happen.

Re: Question about the Jute Deathbringers Dead Lantern

Ah, there was me misreading that bit! A few ways to deal with that unit off hand are spray weapons, Tramples and focus spells. The first two are easy strikes so negate that difficult bit and focus spells dont need to see the target thus don't get the penalty. Anther usful tactic unit depending is so...

Re: Question about the Jute Deathbringers Dead Lantern

I've yet to come up with an effective counter strategy against them (bar using Atalantes). So far I've tried: - Shooting them with lightning spells with Troll Gothi. Sometimes works, but because they're difficultly seen thanks to Licwaca's lamp, it's mostly down to luck to even hit them. Not very c...

With your restrictions it is not a bad start, its main weakness is the lack of outright punch which you will find with humans as you scale up but good to see a theme in mind. As you expand I would recommend a Teryn general and look to expand your rhyfelwr pool. You can also get the true dragons in d...

Ok heres a scenario: Oak beast throws its rock at a unit and requires 5's to hit. with its three dice it rolls 8, 5 and 2 thus scoring a majority hit so the template does not scatter. No you have to avoid crush and splash dice equal to the hits. you roll 3 dice get 1, 2, 3 hits you must evade 1, 2, 3 dice respectively. If you missed all three and the scatter still hits something its 1 dice.

The two crushed warriors must evade 2 dice between them at full M+W, this can only kill those specific models as crush templates can't over spill to models not under the template. The 4 splashed warriors have to only avoid 1 dice each for a total of 4 between them. You have to evade the number of hi...
