Re: Parry Modifier renders 30mm Infantry Redundant
Looking in the rule book I've not seen anything that says that. I might be missing it but the rules on page 161 right side under "Engage into Arcs..." states Engaging warriors may only Engage Move into the enemy warrior's arc of sight the majority of their base lay within when the Engaging...

Re: Parry Modifier renders 30mm Infantry Redundant
This is just my experience, but I've found units of 10 which is often the bare minimum, just don't cut it vs bigger beasties. But 15 to 20 I've seen bring them down sometimes easily. Especially if you charge them with so many guys you're forced to start moving into rear arcs.

Re: 1.5k List Thoughts
Well first of all that's 1500 points so that'd be played on a 6x4. Secondly why would you put them in one long line? You have Los through warriors in your own unit. No need to string them out in a single line or even have them all 4" apart just need them spaced where you intend to charge. Reali...

An Abad, especially as a commander, is a frightening thing to see on the battlefield. Between the prayers, the fearlessness (of the unit they join too), the hate of all things, not a man, and the 3 retribution channel dice that has a huge 10" range, they are a utility powerhouse. Here is a Bryt...
Re: 1500 Wiht army
I'm afraid that won't work like you want. In order for the Thains Ancestral Blood rule to work they have to be the general or a commander, in other words, they cannot be mustered as individuals. "If a Thain is mustered as the host's general or as a commander, one Wiht Thain included in his host...

Re: Warrior sizes as strengths
That's not a bad idea at all, easy enough to fit something like this in the block 30mm/1
If not though here is how I remember it
30mm = 1
40mm-80mm = 1+x where x equals each 10mm past 30mm i.e. 80mm = 1+5=6
100mm-120mm simply drop the 0 off the end and that equal the strentgh so 100mm = 10

The max you could have on a 6x4 is actually 8. A 6x4 breaks down into 6 2x2s (so 6 pieces of terrain potentially), then while the defending general may place up to 2, if they choose to place the second one it must replace an already existing piece. Want to make sure I am reading moving through correctly, but based on what the rule book says it sounds like it only counts as moving through if you cross the base of another figure. Pg 108 3.8.5 "Usually, warriors cannot make a Ground Move through any other warrior - called a Move Through - wh...

I saw this one reading the rule book today (which I find rather enjoyable when I'm unable to play), and there seems to be a discrepancy in the requirements for an Attack Move action. To be sure though it was quite the exciting battle and we enjoyed it a lot. The Brutes ended up winning in the end as the Dyndraig ran at the end of the battle hour too disheartened to carry on without their General. It was only 500 gold so there wasn't much else on the table.

No, they have to take damage. The Attack Damage part is important! Ok but this part here below seems to contradict that? As you've said that if a defeated unit fulfils "any" part of it. For example, a group of Ysian Ax-Drunes are defeated due to having less exult tokens then their foe. Th...
