Re: JerzyK's minis
Another Drune finished. Oh wait! It's not from Mierce Miniatures! But I'll show it anyway It's Lanyfh of the black woods from good old Confrontation. I'm one of 1010 lucky owners of this LE mini

Re: JerzyK's minis
I liked painting dogs so much, that I decided to paint a bear after thet So here is Beowa, painted my way:
I hope that you will forgive me putting him on 40mm base - I think 60mm is too much for him

Re: Darklands and Other Models
Please don't be offended, but IMHO Urbad looks terrible, even with such nice painting. I'm glad I sold all 3 of mine
The doggies look cool, especially the first one (brown and grey). Maybe I would paint mine in a different color scheme today...

Good job! I would only make those heat cracks lighter - maybe add some bright yellow/white in the centers of those cracks.

Re: JerzyK's minis
The doggies are finished. I painted the other 2 just as the first one. I wanted all those wound/scars to be visible. I don't thin they're too bright.
Now they only need their master to guide them whom to bite

Re: JerzyK's minis
Really like your stuff, particularly the skin, it has a nice cool feel, slightly "putrid" bordering on "undead" but still looks like the skin of living people. What paints are you using for the skin? Whenever I do skin, I have a difficult time keeping it from being too "yel...

Nice one. I really like different skin tones. Maybe it's just the pictures, but his eyes could stand out more. Now the seem a little pale, maybe you should try brighter colors.

Re: JerzyK's minis
Lovely job mate. So clean! How do you do it? Thanks. Perhaps I paint even too clean ;) It's just a matter of practise. Here comes another drune - Hedroc of Carn Maen: http://chestofcolors.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/05/Hedroc.jpg I think that he is too small (a little smaller than standard ax-drune...

Nice job with Brunchaath. The elements I like the most is his skin and weapon. The fur on the legs definitely needs more contrast - strands of hair should be highlighted more than spaces between them.

Looking really good, nice precise paintwork. Maybe too dark colors, but it's a matter of taste.
I also have this mini and have no idea yet how to paint the bird to make it look magic enough

Does she fit scale-wise with the Darklanders? She's 37mm tall, so she is rather hero size :) Another of Ax Drunes (boss this time): http://i524.photobucket.com/albums/cc327/Jerzy_K/Darklands/Ax_Drune_4_1_zps350833fe.jpg http://i524.photobucket.com/albums/cc327/Jerzy_K/Darklands/Ax_Drune_4_2_zpscbdf...

Re: JerzyK's minis
Well, it's not figure from MM range, but it fits my Drunes force quite well, so I'll show it anyway It's The Howling Horde Warchief from Norsgard Miniatures.
The next one will be another Ax Drune, I promise

Thanks.
@ razormage - the base color for armor is Rackham Color Wizard blue with a touch of black. From then I am only adding black (for shades) or white (for highlights) to the mix.

Re: JerzyK's minis
I am back after a while ;) Time to paint more minis from KS1 before the ones from KS2 arrive. First Ysian Ax Drune (1 of 5 man unit) - a test model for (future) whole army. For the others I will have to paint NMM armor with more contrast... http://i524.photobucket.com/albums/cc327/Jerzy_K/Darklands/...

The bases are standard MM bases. The ground is made of wine cork. The grass is made of linen string (any other natural fiber would be fine) .
