The P3 inks are decent enough. Strong pigment but the dropper is just a pinprick and they clog easily which inevitably leads to explosions. Brushes are still the trusty series 7's. G&G ones are nowhere near good enough, not even up to GW standards. I'm only using them to mix paints and paint tex...

My vote goes for battlefoam as I have 2 already, 1 for Malifaux and 1 for P3 paints, and they are a brilliant system. KR look good for the price I just prefer the look and overall quality and protection of battlefoam. And their promotional videos are hilarious :-)

I wish I could say it was going well, or even going at all. I've had a major drain on my spare time all through July and August and finished it off last weekend with going to Reading Festival. I am now clear of it all though so I shall continue with Beowa this week. Got the fur done on bear form but...

I'm liking the skin tone too. Also you asked previously to let you know how I get on with the iwata eclipse hp-cs airbrush I bought and can say it makes thing a lot easier. Not gone into highlighting with it yet but much easier to position the paint where I want it and alter the amount being deliver...

Yeah, been reading the Wiki history this morning. Interesting stuff. Since I live 3 miles from Stone I'm going to stand in support of their claim to being the capital. Regardless of any other well reasoned arguments or supportive evidence :D

Crikey. Very cool! Presumably they mean Wulfhere, Penda's son? Cheers That's what I figure :-) Done a quick search on the town and wikipedia threw up this info which I think is pretty cool. Looking good. I love the Aradae Mawr model but I'm not that keen on his head. Don't think it lives up to the rest of him. Don't think I'd have the nerve to mutilate my dyndraig though. :-)

As always, very nice. 2 questions. 1, is that just regular double sided tape you have stuck him down with and does he stay on OK while painting? 2, is that a completed Gjoll in the background? :-)

I am tempted by the Kthones. They look awesome. The problem is I wouldn't be able to order just the starter, I would have to get extra beasties to go with them because they have some sweet extras like ssibyros and ygandr. Need to save money now for next KS.

Don't get me wrong. I fully appreciate and respect the level of skill he possesses and can only dream of recreating the same level of artistry. I can't wait, though, to see Seb's work on Trolls and Brythoniad. They are going to make me drool, I have no doubt :-)

Impressive skills as usual. Have to admit however that I'm not a fan of Bohun's style. With the exception of Mjagnir I have preferred Seb's work from all you have posted. I found some of the Tarvax especially to be a bit too glaring, if that makes sense. Top notch workmanship regardless. :-)

I think its a palette that works for GW or Malifaux. I just see Darklands as murkier and more realistic in its theme. I know its still fantasy but its grounded in a real period of history. Just my take on it. Live and let live and all that :-)

I'm no expert but I've generally dry brushed fur. It used to look very muddy but I think it was because I had too much paint on the brush and I was going too bright too quickly. Now I find that if I approach dry brushing with the same mind set as layering the effect is so much better. Slowly build p...

You will get 9 white and 1 black D10 with each starter set. The black one will be used as the tens when rolling a D100 check while a white will be used for the units. A roll of 3 on black and 7 on white would be a score of 37.

I would go for the Norse starter plus blood maw option for 2 reasons. The starter rules should be available this month and until August the only forces you will have currently to face each other is ysian and sronax.
