2000g Erainn Muster - using KS models

Postby Dave Fraser » Tue Apr 05, 2016 10:39 am

Most recent list I've knocked together using models picked up from the KS.

Taoiseach (Common) 56
Tuanagh (Mainstay) 130
Tuanagh (Mainstay) 130
3 Fir Bholg Hurlers (Uncommon 2) 336

Cruimther (Uncommmon) 50
10 Tuanagh (Mainstay) 130
10 Maiobhanagh (Common) 180

Beast of Danu - Gae Bulga, Power of Danu (Rare) 186
5 Fen Beasts (Uncommon) 455
2 Bog Beasts (Uncommon 2) 346

I had to go back and add an extra 20 infantry to my KS order but I actually quite like the way that is looking on paper. Would have liked the option for a Drui but UC2 is too much for the list to support so I went with the Priest instead.

I like it Dave, that ubiquity of the Drui means she's getting left out of my current lists too, which is a shame.

Glad to see the Fir Bholg in there!

The Fir Bholg can be bound and free up that Ubiquity some what.

The Fir Bholg Hurlers can be bound to a Tuanagh unit. Thus they would count together as 1 Mainstay unit.

From the Mustering Rules:
A Bound unit's ubiquity is counted as that of the Binding unit's leader, i.e., the unit that Binds to another unit.

And the Authorithy of them together would be 15.
Because:
The AUTHORITY of a Bound unit for mustering purposes is always that of the Bound unit's leader and is not the sum of the Binding unit and Bind unit's AUTHORITY.

Thanks,

I have to admit I'd totally missed the Bound ability on the Fir Bholg, that definitely helps free up some options in the list.

I'll be playing about with this muster a lot trying to get a nice mix of stuff into the force as I really like the look/feel of the Erainn.
