Starting a small Fomoraic force for Zeds challenge.
Kraan (as a Tain of Baalor with Shield) 85 gold
3 Srónax (no upgrades) 255 gold
1 Feleox 161 gold
For a total of 501 gold.
As you can see, they're all assembled, and the Feleox already has a basic bit of paint applied.
Now to see if I can actually finish this before the end of the year.

Re: Ronald's Fomoraic
The new guys primed (all polyurethane primers), the 2 Srónax Warriors and Kraan primed in Vallejo German Panzer Grey primer.
The Srónax Champion is primed in a 4:3 mix of German Panzer Grey primer and Grey Primer.
Making him slightly lighter than the other 3 models, making him easier to paint a lighter colour.
This because higher ranked monsters are lighter in colour.

Re: Ronald's Fomoraic
Starting work on the first Srónax, the skin-tone was interesting to do due to a mistake of mine.
I mixed a redish brown with a cold grey to try and create a warmer grey-tone, and ended up making a dusty purple instead.
Thinking that it might be correctable I proceeded.
After that I washed the model in a solid coat of Armypainter Strong Tone ink and then proceeded to lightly drybrush with lighter shades of grey.
The highlights look better in person, and should become more visible as more details get coloured in with paint.
The top picture is after painting the model purple and the Strong Tone wash, the bottom one is after 2 progressively lighter drybrushes with grey.
