Question about the forester ability

Postby HughB » Mon Mar 25, 2019 9:17 pm

The ability refers to foresters being able to treat woods as open terrain for the purposes of movement. So foresters can charge through woods.

Presumably this doesn't alter the fact that they can't see something thats got more than 6" of woods between the forester and itself?

What I'm getting at is can a unit of foresters see through forests like they're open terrain as well and therefore be able to launch a charge against something from one side of a wood to the other or just from within 6" of the edge of a wood out into open ground?

Hope that makes sense.

"The ability refers to foresters being able to treat woods as open terrain for the purposes of movement."
I think you answered that one yourself.

If they can't see anything Hugh, they can't Charge it... they can still Engage it of course, using an Indirect Engagement, such as a Run.

Yeah you're right Icchan. Was fairly certain that was how it was but just wanted to nail it down in my head. Thanks for confirming Rob.
