The rules state that a unit can only be in one heart state at any one time (apart from also being afraid).

Does this mean that the more esoteric methods of applying dismay tokens also remove all blood tokens from a unit?

For example; if you can make a unit confused, does the unit lose all of its blood tokens?

If a unit is blind beset, does it lose its blood tokens?
