If for instance a unit with the ubiquity common(2) is purchased to fulfill one common ubiquity slot, is it entitled to free command? What about if you are playing a game with min common of 2, and you take a unit with the ubiquity and one with common(2), do both receive free command or just the common unit?
I'm assuming in both cases everyone gets free command, but wanted to double check
Free command and (for example) Common (2)

Yes, because you're still purchasing that unit to fulfil a minimum ubiquity requirement.

Now to take it a step further...
I assume you can't take 2 units of common (2) and count one of each though?

Currently, yes - I'd need to explicitly disallow that.
