Hate/headstrong question

Postby Rob Boyce » Fri May 27, 2016 5:17 pm

The rules for Hate state that warriors with this trait are headstrong when 'against' the subjects of their hate.

Just wondering how specific 'against' is, as headstrong requires the unit to reroll all passed authority tests. Does it mean specifically when they are involved in combat with them, when they are doing something that pertains to them or when they are in the opposing army
For example my opponent had a unit of Tuanagh and I had a unit of Gabrax and we were all the way across the table from each other, if he tried to change his units orders and passed the authority test would he have to reroll?

Simply put, "against" is applied whenever something affects the unit in question. In your example, the Tuanagh unit does not have to re-roll because that test does not have an immediate effect on the Gabrax.

Cheers
