Atlantes, Lords of Kthon and Ubiquity

Quick question, hopefully an easy one (apologies if its been answered before or I am missing something_

Certain Atlantes heroes can muster certain Kthones if they have the Lords of Kthon ability, changing their ubiquity to uncommon, but some of the models in the list have the compel (x) ability.

does this mean if I take an Atlantes host, include one of these models and take a Kthones hero that has a compel ability, would the compelled unit count as mainstay or still as uncommon?

Demyse - they'd count as Mainstay.
