Where's the Fomoraic? Bet they're feeling a bit left out in the cold, they probably prefer that though.

James decided to bring bronze instead of goats as originally planned

I generally always wait until the lists are in before choosing what I'll be taking so it's something different.

I think I'll be bringing Anglecynn though to be honest...

I’ve got. A few print outs for people if necessary but nt enough for everyone to use sadly.

Just currently sorting out my round pairing spreadsheet with everyone round 1 match ups and then last thing to sort is food. I love it when a plan comes together.

It’s now the morning after the event and I’m still coming down from the high of yesterday.

Thank you everyone for attending I will be putting the full results up on this page later today. I have a few thoughts for next year going forward to improve upon but my main hope is next year we continue to grow the event and we get even more players attending.

Thank you all for your kind words.

My two main thoughts for improvement next year currently are:

1. Food - now the traditional fair I’ve provided had always been in part due to uncertainty in the number of people attending the event I’ve played safe with.

Now we seem to have a good solid number of attendees we can grow from I’m looking at changing it to the traditional food of our club events of pizza. What are people thoughts? Keep it the same or change for next year?

2. List submissions - whilst most lists were in the format I asked for a number either had more info than I needed, in looking at your cruinthers Scott and their clothing colours! Or were in a format that was slightly more difficult to work out what was what with

So in order to make it easier next year for me to check lists quickly I’ll be sending out the excel spreadsheet I use to write lists with. This will help both the entrants with list writing and me checking. It’s not fancy but it’s simple.

Other than that are there any improvements people wish to suggest? I’m open to all suggestions and criticisms to try and make this event even better.

Both suggested changes sound good to me.

And sorry for making like more difficult for you! I had thought a while ago that it might be useful to have an excel spreadsheet or similar, containing formulae for calculating armies easily, available for download in the community. As you can see, my efforts so far are probably unnecessarily detailed.

If it works for you that’s the main thing!

My thoughts were more along the line of a standardised format to help both parties. I’m happy to share my sheet of anyone wanted to use it!
