Raiding

Postby Jonathon Chester » Fri Apr 12, 2019 2:06 pm

I know there is the old fashioned style of raids done in Darklands, gold food and women for example, but are raids done to say steal other kindred creatures?

I can imagine some kindreds would want to steal eggs or young creatures to possibly use or turn a profit.

I pity the fool who tries to steal a Meagenwulf's cub from beneath her ..

I don't even think Mægenwulfs are able to breed as they are (d)evolved humans after all.

Have you ever walked round Walsall on a Saturday night, plenty of (d)evolved humans there and they all seem to be breeding... lol

I swear the leather fumes have caused that regression in the Walsall ‘humans’.

Hey Alex, where do you play Darklands?

Are you at the Bedworth club in Coventry.

Alex isn't one of our Bedworth players though he is more than welcome if nearby!

I’m down in the bit of the world sandwiched between Birmingham and Dudley. I don’t play Darklands so much as horde stuff, make muster lists and put together random surplus metals for use in other game systems...

One day I’m sure I’ll play... one day. I mean, I’ve got three 2000+ gold musters so it’ll be a bit of a waste if I don’t...

Well you'd be welcomed at either the Bedworth or Rugeley clubs if you fancy trying out the game.

Why don't you come along on Coffa Tree day, even if you don't want to play you'll get to meet other players and get a feel for how the game plays..

I’ll certainly keep that in mind!

On the raiding topic - I’m sure the flesh crafters of Ys would like to get their hands on such things!

Absolutely - especially the Ysians, but there are many beast-masters who would pay for a few eggs or weird creatures...

Cheers
