Mierce Miniatures

Directed at MM, but not specifically, I'm interested in what a typical Quickstarter force would comprise of?

By my reckoning, a typical force could look like this:

- 1 Warlord
- 1 Warlock
- 1 Standard
- 1-2 units of infantry (or 0-1 units of monstrous infantry)
- 0-1 Monstrous beast

Thoughts?

I had some thoughts about this during the last few days of the campaign, all be it more towards starter forces for a full game, and looking at it for a quick start force I think you'll likly be right, possibly with 1 fewer characters (so 1 Warlord selection and 1 Warchief, or 2 Warchiefs)
Just 1 Warlord would also probably work, but might leave you open to not being able to react and change some units orders in the game.

Mierce Have said that you can play the quickstart rules without any characters at all, command defaulting to the most senior person in your force (ie unit champion) but I think the composition of 2 units, 1 (minor) monster and 1-2 Charaters sounds like a good starting point to aim for and to expand on

yesterday i have had first battle with a friend at 500 gold with kthones

I have used 2 kind of list:

1 warlord
2 mostruos infantry
1 mostruos infantry (feral)
1 mostruos infantry

and

1 sorcerer
1 mostruos infantry
1 monster

for that gold range i prefere the monstruos infantry only.

I think that for a 1000 point game i will go for 4-5 action to do in an hour so my list would be

1 gorgonarchon 209
1 gorgor 170
3x gorgones with heavy armor 198
2x gorgones 126
2x gorgones 126
2x krokodar 168

with a total of 4 action

what do you think?
