Andy P Beowa

Postby AndyP » Thu Sep 05, 2013 7:45 am

Finally been able to make a start on Beowa. These are the basecoat colours, no shading or highlighting yet, and some bits are still just black primer. Let me know what you think of the colour scheme as I am really struggling to find a look I am completely happy with. I think this will be good once it is detailed properly.

I may be wrong but I have always thought that the belly 'plate' was tooled leather. that is certainly how I will do mine. I think the red will look better than the green Bohun has used on Ryans. I think I will go for a dark yellow/buff colour for mine, with dark red leather for the belly 'plate'.

Looking at it now you are right. That should be leather. That's what happens when you rush to get some colour on at 00.30 at night :-)

Update on progress. Not much left to do now. Skin, metalwork and axe mainly.

I may have picked up the wrong bottle there. Easily fixed though ;-)
