AndyS Brynhild WIP

Postby AndyS » Mon Apr 28, 2014 12:06 pm

Hey folks! I started painting this lovely lady yesterday. I had to previously re-sculpt the beak as it was not fully formed. I hope it's somewhere close to as it should be!
here are a couple of pics.

She will be pretty close in colour scheme to the studio version. If it's not broke, don't fix it I always say!

I've been working hard on this lady over the weekend so not much left to do now! I will be attempting some kind of OSL effect this evening. Lets see how that goes!

Looking really good, nice precise paintwork. Maybe too dark colors, but it's a matter of taste.
I also have this mini and have no idea yet how to paint the bird to make it look magic enough ;)

I have found that I paint somewhat darker than most (looking at Salute). I tried to brighten this one up! The OSL will either help brighten it up or totally destroy it!

Cheers guys. Seems I didn't do too poor a job on the OSL then. Still, more practice required I think!
