Lots more work to do. Skin & fur finished but armour wants repainting as I experimented with a few finishes, none of which I'm happy with. Will go back to original plan of black with edge highlights.
One thing I noticed for the first time while doing him. Don't cows have cloven hooves? Discuss ;-)

every detail is amazing, is it all brushwork or do you use an airbrush?

I've just got an airbrush which I am getting some practice with but this guy is just brush work.

That's a good improvement Andy. Looking forward to seeing the rest of it. Black is a problem of mine. I can never tell if I've gone too far or not far enough!

I keep looking at that and admiring it all. I just have one stupid question to Mierce, how does he get his horns into that helm?....

How did you achieve that white layer for the eye on the armor?

How did you achieve that white layer for the eye on the armor?

It is Vallejo Model Colour Ivory 50/50 mix with water and about 5 or 6 coats to achieve solid coverage. It is not shaded or highlighted yet.
The blue is VMC Pale Grey Blue done the same and also not shaded or highlighted yet.

Nearly there just the leather straps and his axe left to finish. May try out some of my new weathering powders as well, not sure yet :-)
