mostly finished Talos. did this last night in about an hour.
(camera phone pic) 28mm Dark Sword Gorgon for scale
primed black
heavy over-spray of bronze
light over-spray of gold
washed with army painter strong tone
cloth rub on raised surfaced (to 'polish' the gold primer)
custom mixes for verdigris, varying in dark/blue to lighter/greener
what do you guys think?

very nice, love the bronze weathering is that a primed 28mm figure at his feet?

Great looking piece. Those eyes really work well. Is it the camera phone flash making them pop or are they really that bright?

It's fairly bright, i think the flash is making them pop though.
used Army Painter Warpaints white and their orange, they are great colors with solid pigment. painted white inside and feathered the orange from just inside the eye rims, then feathered watered-down orange around the eyes like thick mascara.

Love the look, the drybrush with the verdigris is a bit rough, but it looks rather nice. ^_^

I didn't drybrush the verdigris, I used the Army Painter Stippling brush (bottom of this page
http://usshop.thearmypainter.com/produc ... tGroupId=6) with several different mixes, going from a blue-ish green to a green-ish blue. But, I know what you are saying; I feel a little dissatisfied with the verdigris. I also didn't want to overwhelm the model with verdigris (it probably would be if it was real). I think I may put a very light blue (with a little green) in the crevices where the heaviest verdigris is occurring, as a lot of the reference pics I was using on google image search seemed to indicate the brightest verdigris occurs in recesses.
