Just wanted to say thank you to Mierce for opening up the forums so I could register and show you my painted minis, I like to share
Don't expect amazing paint jobs although I do try my best.
My first mini that I finished last weekend is a lovely little lass Annik of Carn Wrach.
I do jump between projects a lot, when I'm fully onto my Darklands minis the updates will be more frequent.
This isn't the best pic as the weather isn't great in the UK at the moment. I've been wanting to paint her for ages but my inability to paint skin tones has held me back until now, I think I'm finally getting the hang of it though

I can understand your nervousness, but the result is excellent! Love the mane colour, and the face especially.

I really like the contrast on that manticore between the dark scorpion/unnatural parts and the lions body. Well done there sir!

Thanks guys really appreciate the comments.
Not sure whats up next I have the rest of Baagath's herd to do and my Gorgórar unit, but they are even more intimidating than the Manticore was!
I've washed a load more stuff ready for assemble as well, don't think I'll be running out any time soon but I do have some none Darklands projects that need working on as well.

Do not be intimidated by the Gorgorar! I've not done them but done a bunch of the Gorgonar and they take paint so well it's a pleasure to work on them. Basecoat, drybrush then wash and they start to look fantastic and that's next to no work to do!
Like what you've been posting up so far all the paintjobs are looking solid.

Cheers Dave I will give them a go soon.
----------------------------
The new Kickstarter has got me back into painting Darklands minis again.
Today I painted Naraa, Tain of Baalor.
First time doing eyes but I wanted to give her the frozen look so pushed myself out of my comfort zone...

I've been painting some Gabrax this weekend, quite fun models especially when you get away from the normal skin tones.
I've got the banner bearer left and the two alternatives although one of them needs a new axe.
Chuwaa, Gabrax hornblower
Ungaa, Gabrax warrior
Rapraag, Gabrax warrior

I'm back again with another painted mini for Darklands.
This time from the Jutes we have Sigheard, Ord Wihtgär
I really enjoyed painting him with his rusty armour and purple cloak.

cool stuff.
what do you use for your snow basing? I use the woodlands scenics snow but it needs about 4 layers

It looks like crushed glass to me.
Whatever it is, the basing and the models look great

I've not been painting much recently but managed to bash out some Jute skeletons last weekend, I think they came out quite well. I'm currently assembling the rest of them at the moment.
