Skull King's Fomoraic friends! - Tarvox & Mammax

Hello!

Well, here's my first Mierce Miniatures painted up. I'll try to post as much as I can in this first post, and will probably rearrange them as needed.

Here's where they are so far!



First up are Baalor's Bully Boys, the unit of Tarvax, and their Tarvax Tain.


First up is the Tain Chaarakk.


Then the skull (standard) bearer Kaastaruk


Raackanasck who I assume is the unit's champion.


Piraack, who we all know is the brains of the operation.


Bockaaruk, the one with the most useful weapon when living on a giant glacier.


And last ,but not least Inavaak, or 'Ol one eye, von coolest weapon', as he's known.


I'm trying to paint all my Fomoraic with very cool colors, so as to elude to their icy origins. Also, they won't clash as much with some of the other kindreds, which will have much warmer colors. Plus, I've always just liked grey minotaurs.

Looking forwards to seeing more of Baalor's minions.

I think they will contrast particularly well with my Albainn & Erainn, who will have more warm earthy tones.

Alright! Got some Gabrax ready!

And before you ask, yes, I totally messed up the Gabrax shaman's staff. I had adjusted it because I broke one of the smaller bones, and I had it upside down, but totally didn't realize it was supposed to be a Baalor eye...

Ok, Naara and her big pet Feleox are finished! I'm going to try and finish some other Fomoraic figures in the next week or so, and then I'll try to post another big army shot in the first comment.

She looks really good mate how did you paint her hair up in that way?

Byzantii & Jonathon, thanks for the kind words!

@Jonathon - I base coated her white, then gave her hair a layer of light yellow. I added an orange glaze to just her hair, then after it dried, applied the same light yellow to to the majority of the hair, then drybrushed white. I'll probably go with a different hair color for archer Naara, when I get her, as I don't want all my human Fomorians to be blondes.

Alright! It's been MONTHS, but I've finally finished off this lot!

Of course, with all the new muster changes, I'm not planning on using this specific set anymore, but, oh well.

OK, first up is my Mammax Un/Tain. Love this dude. REALLY wish he had a unit of his kind to back him up (hint, hint). That would be an auto add for any Fomoraic list of mine.




And last is the Big Ol' Tarvox, the biggest beastie of the group.
