Avatar max KB increase?

6kb is pretty tiny, any chance this could be bumped up to 30 or so, please? 
How do you add an Avatar,
I've dug around in the User control panel but can't find it

- Click "User control panel"
- Click the "Overview" dropdown and then "Profile"
- Click the "Edit Profile" button that appears and select "Edit Avatar"

the pixel sieze is rather small to... :3 Gush this mean I need to photo-shop correct sieze manually. hurrah
