Lists are almost all in I shall be doing the draw tonight provided lists are all good and I shall put a list breakdown on here and if I have a chance to a few predictions of podium placing. I hope to also get some pictures of the event to post up here as well focusing on the best painted entrys and games as they are playing.

So an interesting mix of list with formoraic being almost half the field but no other kindred being represented more than once. The spare player list is my Brythoniaid which is:

General: Teryn, Armour, bow, ceffyldraig heavy barding, Uncommon 3
Host Command: Uchelwr, shield, armour, Host Banner, Common
10x Teulu, Full command, Mainstay
Gwyfen, Rare

Uchelwr, armour, shield, bow, Common
10x Rhyfelwr, Full command, mainstay,
10x Rhyfelwr, Full command, mainstay,

Prifdyndraig. beaten armour, Uncommon 2
3x Dyndraig, Beaten armour, Common
1x Dyndraig, Beaten armour, Common
1x dynwocor, Champion, Uncommon

Now for my podium predictions, there are some interesting lists here that could potentially podium if played right but being only three games I can foresee someone possibly pipping the obvious choices to the post if they get a big win last round and the leaders draw. So my top three in no particular order are Danny Pegg, Liam Jordan and Phil Whitstanly. These three lists have the flexibility to deal with most lists or in the case of phil enough brute force spread over a couple units that with the right opposition could steamroll if the dice gods are on his side. An outside pair are Rob Boyce and Simon Clifford who I think could be one of those dark horses I mentioned earlier in the case of Rob and with Simon his list whilst heavily reliant on magic had that combat back up but as with past experience this style of list can have a tendency to work amazing on paper but once dice start rolling things go badly wrong when a big win should happen.

Right now to finish the last bits of tournament prep and if anyone wants to come along just for a gander please feel free and we shall see you there.

10 of us made it in the end.

3 fomoraic
2 dis
1 Norse
1 anglecynn
1 brythoniad
1 khthones
1 jutes

I got my first 3 games of darklands in getting smashed twice and then a draw for the third game.

No one faction was dominant though there were stories of the Jutes being filth but overall results didn't have them miles ahead.

Winner was Si with Fomoraic.

Wow those pictures look absolutely fantastic!

I live in Belgium but hope to attend one (or more!) Darklands tournaments in the UK the following years. It must have been an awesome day. Even the creators of the game atended, nice!
