Is there a deadline by which you'll need confirmation of attendance? I'm interested, but I want to make sure I'm confident on the rules and have a few games under my belt before I blunder in and inconvenience everyone so I'm just wondering how long I have.

Preferably by the list submission date but this event is designed to bring new people in with a limited knowledge to the system and we will have plenty of experienced people there to help if needed :) don't feel you need to quote the book to turn up.

I'm certainly interested. Could you put me on the list for now as a provisional entrant? I will need to confirm that I will be available closer to the date.

Sounds good. You can put me down as a provisional for now (Stu Williams), I don't know that I can confirm just yet.

I'm a bit confused. Is this a tournament or an intro event?

It is a tournament but I'm aiming it at people who are perhaps newer to the game as well as people who've a few games under the old belt :)

Just a quick question.
Given the rules for generating kindred terrain involve rolling against the chosen class to determine the type. How are you wanting to resolve this with us bringing two pieces of terrain to the event?

What we do for the event is pick one of your pieces and place it in your half of the table if it's the additional piece or if you are the defender you pick it one of your pieces and swap it with one of the pre set pieces of terrain.

Hope this is clear!

Aye that part was clear, I was meaning from a size perspective. The kindred terrain is rolled against a table that dictates the size of terrain piece that can be placed (as far as I can tell at least), will this just be a case of placing whatever sized piece of terrain you bring?

Jon, it's there a policy on proxies? I think I can put together a list using the collection I have - although I haven't checked since before gold costs came down - but it'd be nowhere near as interesting as the list I'd like to go with.

Needs to be mierce but can be anything on the same base size as the unit you're proxying. If needed hit me up and I can see what I have that I can loan if needs be :)

Another question struck me; do the two terrain pieces need to be different types? Or could I, for example, take two different sizes of snow covering for a fomoraic host?

They can be any of your specific terrain so you could bring two of the same :)

Brilliant, I'll have them ready for the day.
