(Lore) Shapeshifters

So, we all know that the Germanic tribes can shape shift into a variety of creatures and that these can be both permanent and reversible transformations.

But how does this work with the varying sizes of shifted creatures?
The Anglecynn (Mierce) transform into werewolves, but also into Waelwulf, Guthwulf and Maegenwulf. Are these shifts different, so if someone can shift into a werewulf they won't be able to become one of the others or doestate the wulf form get larger with maturity and usage?

Much appreciated for any answers.

James

For the Anglecynn:
they change more and more as time goes on and they won't be able to turn back (atleast, that's what it was the last time I asked Rob). Penda is starting to change already for example.
Humans --> Werwulfas --> Wælwulfas --> Guthwulfas --> Mægenwulfas

So it's a time thing, the more they change the bigger and more wolf like they get?

That's right. But that is not the case for all shapeshifters, just for the Anglecynn (for now). Only Rob knows how far those "evolutions" go, and even he might just make them up depending on how good a certain shapeshifting sub-kindred sells..

Fair enough, well thanks for clearing that up.

What Rick says is correct here...

I know, I should visit here more often. All work and no play, etc.

Cheers
