Any particular reason that you are representing Northumbrians as Pig Men?

And the relationship to Pigs/Hogs... is?

I spent several years living in York and they're very proud of the city's connections with pigs, there - particularly roast pork and ham (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/York#York_ham).

I always assumed that was why.
