Thanks again Bloodwars. I think I just took my time the trousers/pants. That's about a year old now I think.

I'll be starting a WIP of my Trolls soon. Trying out some new techniques. Just have them undercoated at the moment. Black with white over the top. Need to set up a photobucket account!

Oh yes, I have to join the chorus here - great work AndyS!

I really like Creoda and the different hues on him. Yes, I agree Eirik's pants, the skintones, Meloda's face are also beautiful stuff, there's just something about Creoda that has been growing on me, and you have done such a great job on him.

Cheers

I wish I could say it was going well, or even going at all. I've had a major drain on my spare time all through July and August and finished it off last weekend with going to Reading Festival. I am now clear of it all though so I shall continue with Beowa this week. Got the fur done on bear form but it has come out more brown than black so need to either wash it more towards black or start again with a slightly different palette. Also I tried taking a couple of WIP shots but my lighting isn't great and you couldnt see the detail properly so will need to invest in a light tent off eBay before I photo him for the comp. All in all pretty depressing so far :-(

Cheers Andy. I have had him built but unpainted since he came out. I had planned on painting him up for last years comp but didn't get the time. I'm glad he's done now though I can tell you!

Had mine undercoated and ready to go in April but sweaty resin ruined that plan. Now I have to start cleaning and assembling again :-(

Your models are exceptional, as are your bases, how do you do them, looks like you have some static grass and some foam clumps am I right?

The_minsk - I use woodland scenics fine turf mixed with pva and water. Grass tufts, not loose static grass. that sfuff is terrible!

Shadowbcfc - can't remember! That was a long time ago. I know the paints were Wargames Foundry. Dark and teal blues and Brass Barrel for the metal I think.

JL - thanks dude!
