Aniku´s finished works

Postby Aniku » Thu May 30, 2013 2:00 pm

Hi everyone.

I'm quite sure I'm gonna spend a lot of time in this forum so I think it's a good idea to post some previous work. I think I have readed, I don't remember where in the forum, that we are able to post miniatures from others companies. I hope this is not a mistake.

So i'm going to post my last two finished miniatures.

Hortak from Andrea miniatures:

Best pics (or I think so). I'm a completly disaster with the camera.

Very nice indeed! If I'm allowed to be critical I would say that the white hair does not match the standard of the rest of the model. But otherwise amazing!

AndyS that hair is a great nightmare. I know the hair is under level of the rest of the miniature but was impossible for me do it better. Maybe I should have been more patient with the hair but I was really tired so I tryed to finish in the best way possible using not too many time.

Love you like them.

Now I'm waiting your finished miniatures. C'mon!!!

Great stuff Aniku :)

Particularly like Hortak, but the nmm steel on both is expertly executed, great work indeed!

I was thinking the same as AndyS, the white hair on Luz looks a bit off. I don't know if you have tried, but shade it a bit more with a hint of green in it. F.ex shadow grey (old gw) with some catachan green (old gw) added. For the highlights create an increasingly brighter mix of space wolves grey (old gw) with rotting flesh (old gw). Pure white added to later stages. Sorry I don't have the updated names on the colours in other ranges, I still use old paints that are as good as new :) But a conversion chart should be easy to find.

Anyway, just a thought. It would definitely make the white look better.

As usual, your work makes me feel woefully inadequate as a hobbyist. It's not just the paint job on this one - which is spectacular - but the way it tells a story to the viewer. Love it. I can't wait to see what you do with some of Mierce's models.

Hi,

Here you have the final pics of the scene. No matter if you are in the real world or in and fantasy world, there will always be a sucker bouncer who tell you "You are not on the List"...

And now the pics. Comments, critics, etc, are welcome. Be sure that if you are correct I'll try to repaint that part of the miniature
