New UK Player

Postby Raya » Tue Apr 01, 2014 7:47 pm

Hi guys, nice to meet you! I'm Lynz (aka Raya), based near Burton on Trent.

I've been a fan of Mierce's models since back in the days of Maelstrom, so you can imagine how thrilled I am at having them turned into a full game. Currently looking at building a Fomoraic army, but each new Kickstarter update keeps tempting me elsewhere...

Hi Lynz, welcome to the forum. Any particular breed of Fomoraic or just all of them? :-)

I'm a big fan of the Mammax. I think I'm going to try and cram one of those guys in every one of my lists. I generally like all the non-human breeds of the Fomoraic, so will be running entirely beast musters.

Also I absolutely love the mounted Brunchaath art, and I'm willing to bet that it's going to be my favourite model in the range when it's released. Stat-wise the gooracx isn't nearly as good as the boar, but look at that thing, it's magnificent. That and the Mammax sold me on the Fomoraic, as much as the other factions are tempting me...

They are great looking pieces. Looking forward to more mammax and mammox in the future myself. Whereabouts in Burton are you? My wife's family come from around there.

I'm actually about 20mins away from Burton, but it's the closest big town.

Hi Lynz, not sure if you're still active on this forum or even if you still play Darklands, but there's a few of us that play at a club in Rugeley most Sunday's, it's only about 35 minutes from Burton so if you ever fancy popping down for a game let us know.
Devlin Brightblade, Lord of Saxon Hammerwich, Slayer of Trolls, Tamer of Manticores, Petter of Flint Flang the Kill Thing from the Infernal Pits..

As you slide down the Bannister of Life, may the Splinters be kind...
