Thanks for responding, Azhrarn.

Here's a revised Loratham from Jeremy. I really appreciate the feedback, Grefven. I passed it along to Jeremy, who agreed that the shading on the back of Loratham was a bit rough and he agreed to blend it a bit more carefully. It certainly looks better. For what I pay for these models, I expect top knotch work. Thanks for making sure I get it, Grefven.

Thanks for the responses guys. I bought everything from the Darklands kickstarter. The commissions that I do continue to change, so it is hard to pin that down right now. Expect me to show you some more MM models painted by Seb over time, though.

Seb finished painting the Terror of Fortriu. Here are some pics. This is a huge and beautifully detailed model! Let me know what you guys think of it.

While Bohun's technique is flawless, for me, his style in overdose is too much. These guys, individually, look awesome technically, but when there are too many of them lined up, it's a bit too much. Take the little goblin with the horned helmet and cleaver. While on its own, it's beautiful and full of flavour. But lined up along the others, to me, Bohun's unique style just screams too much. For example, the highlights on his tunic look more like cracked stone than a natural cloth.

I hear you, Grefven. I, of course, very much like Bohun's style. It is very different from Seb's style, which I also love. Each is a master and I collect miniatures from both.

Here are some more Otherworld minis painted by Bohun. Pig-faced ORCS, just like in classic D&D!

Thank you so much for these posts. I must say I'm not keen on the other world figures, but this thread became awesome again with the alternative Malacant. That is such an inspiration, especially as I'm in the process of painting mine up. Thank you again.

@Evl Hmr I like the true, classic 1st edition D&D. The Otherworld models are identical to the first edition monsters in the original Monster Manual. As such, I am a big fan. I was hoping that the fact that Bohun, which, if I recall correctly, was one of your favorite painters, painted the Otherworld models would make them a bit more interesting to you. But, alas, I guess not.

Here are Jowan and his hounds-

Sorn. The figures aren't for me, never got into D&D, but you are 100% correct, Bohun is my favourite artist, and so I am impressed nonetheless. I actually blew the Mini's up onto my PC screen, they are so good, way better than I first thought. Not my type of Mini's, but I can wholeheartedly appreciate the art behind them. Thank you for sharing

Please don't be offended, but IMHO Urbad looks terrible, even with such nice painting. I'm glad I sold all 3 of mine :)
The doggies look cool, especially the first one (brown and grey). Maybe I would paint mine in a different color scheme today...
