Manny's Stash
Manny's Stash
Hey guys, just looking through my first box, very happy. Will post pics of the odd one or 2 minis today. However, I'm free tomorrow (Mrs at work) to take plenty.
Cheers,

Re: Manny's Stash
The flashing is the kind that basically just brushes off with ease, and there is only a slight mold live across the back of his cloak.
Very clean look model!!
Cheers
Re: Manny's Stash
Couldn't wait to get him assembled
Re: Manny's Stash
That's the whole stash......for now
Re: Manny's Stash
So 12 tokens in total, 4 of each order. They are really nice and thick, with lovely sharp images and text.
Re: Manny's Stash
Thanks for taking pictures of these models. I am very excited to get an opportunity to see them prior to getting them myself.
Re: Manny's Stash

Re: Manny's Stash
Like how he looks already. The colours of the different leathers on his cloak work well together. What are they?
As I always say. At the end of the day.................it goes dark
Re: Manny's Stash
Great looking figures.
My only problem with them are that too many are bloody standing with a foot on a rock. It looks cool on individual figures, but once half of them stand with one leg on a foot, it just looks ridicilous I am afraid. :/

Re: Manny's Stash
Hey Andy, a selection of Vallejo paints, German camo medium brown, hull red, London grey and cam olive green. Each colour is then lightened up with German camo beige ww2.
Not all are on rocks are they? I've decided to work through 1 model at a time. If I get different skin and clothing shades then its ok, as they're skirmish models, so will look ok being a bit different.
Cheers guys,
Manny

Re: Manny's Stash
No, not everyone is standing on a rock, but loads from the Darklands range are standing on a rock.
To mention a few:
Meloda
Galhwch Lladd Llaw
Gwyddol
Carrowek
Esyld
Mawdred
1 of the ax-drune warriors
Guillaume
Hedroc (most likely)
Vokkinak (most likely)
Brynhildi (most likely)
Kjartan (most likely)
And I probably missed a few.

Re: Manny's Stash
I suppose the dark age must have been a very rocky place to live lol
Re: Manny's Stash
Please, before you add anymore paint, remove the mold lines. It's such an easy thing to ignore, but, you will regret having them once you have finished.

I like to model bases, something different etc and I use microart bases, I actually hate it when all my miniatures are posed with their feet on the same level as it makes modeling a nice base restrictive, clipping a rock off or using it as part of a base actually gives me some much needed variation with bases.
