NUCRÁNC & Cranćull

Postby Brightblade » Mon Jul 02, 2018 10:11 am

With these two minis being removed from Kickstarters today, I was just wondering given that there are no Conand warlords of Warchiefs yet, who could actually command them?

Given that under the Muster rules if they were commanded by a none Conand realm commander their authority would need to be doubled, with the Nucranc at 36 = 72 doubled, and the Crancull at 49 = 98 doubled..

Who could actually command them?
Where would they sit in a muster?

If memory serves you should have the two scions of baalor and conand and Bleech which are also overlords so you’re covered.

None of those have the Compel or Influence function so they cannot host a Mainstay unit, so how can they command Nucranc and Crancull but not have a Mainstay unit?

Upgraded reiver units become mainstay which sorts you out

Reivers have not been released yet, so if you are building a muster based on what mini's are available what over units could be mainstay?

None can be mainstay other than the reivers currently

So if your not playing 'By Proxy' then you cannot field Nucranc & Crancull in a Muster....

Really the Reivers should have been producded first then, with Nucranc and Crancull after, otherwise if you are playing with what is available you cannot field them...

Does the Overlord function not allow you to force a Mainstay Unit?

No Overlord just means you ignore the realm restrictions for that command in essence.

I'll amend the muster so that there's some kind of Conand dude that compels the Nucranca.

You'll be getting a bright and shiny Nucránc Tarn... although you will have to use one of the Nucránc of course...
