Inspire
Silly question #473 ;
Can a general Inspire the unit he is a part of/ commander? And if so, do you test on the general or the champion.
In the rulebook all we found was you had to test on a Commander With lower authority. Couldn't find anything on inspiring your own unit.
Cheers.

Re: Attack move
Cheers! In our last game, where this came up, the trolls was not weary. We played that they could not move and attack back as an reaction. Only attacking with those who was already engaged. That was brutal for the Trolls.

Lets say a unit of 5 trolls and a troll king is engaged with a unit. Only 3 and the king of the trolls has enough space to attack, the other 2 is lurking behind, not within range of the enemy. When the king has made his attack the front row of the enemy is dead, thus they need to Re-engage. If possi...

I think maybe it should be if you engage or are engaged by a terrifying unit, and you are not at least fearsome, you will be afraid anyway, makes sense that you are a bit scared facing the likes of Blood Maw, but you can still attack though with shaky hands, , and if you fail you also flee. If a non fearsome unit wishes to engage a fearsome unit, they have to take a valour test. From what i understand they become afraid regardless of the test is passed or not. Does a Steersman or a Skipari make holumann bowmen mainstay? Or is it just the holumann infantry, as it says in the Viking lord rule?
Just wondering if they should have been included or not?

Is there anywhere in the muster rules where it says that ex common (2) becomes just mainstay, not mainstay (2). I dont doubt that this is correct, but it would help a lot to get a referance from the rules. And it would help my list building a lot if common 2 becomes mainstay 2, he he.

So then my example in the first post is correct then ( at least what i tried to show).. All that is required is that the positioning Field either touches head or flank edge, or both. If so, there is a possibility that both players positioning Field overlaps each other.
