Are we on target, on time?

Postby Stephen rose » Thu Apr 11, 2013 5:06 pm

We are now near enough half way through April now. Just a question to MM.

Are you still going to be able to deliver the KS rewards within April?

I'm sure alot of us are looking forward to receiving our goodies :).

Any answer would be great just to stop a soda pop miniatures style "it's been delayed for 6 months" out of the blue!

Thanks guys. Hope to hear from you soon!

According to the comments still going on the KS Page everything fine. Surely you've received the updates?

Yeah I have received the updates and it seems things are being completed. No official word from MM with a rough delivery date/month though!

So far they have said the April starters will be shipped in the last week of April.

Stephen

Andy's correct, shipments will start in the last week of April (probably the 29th). Dice and tokens are taking their time to be made, not to mention making thousands of miniatures, but at least the latter is in our control.

At this stage I'm not saying everyone's order will be shipped on the 29th, there's still a few logistical humps we have to get over before I can say that, but I'm confident we'll make it.

There's a possibility we may delay some orders just so that they include some new sculpts (thus saving shipping costs), but we'll see, basically. We'll try to keep you all informed!

Cheers

We'll do an official update, but basically we have all of them except the 150mm, which is going to prove impossible to create on time and there's a cost argument against it too. So we've ditched it, the miniatures we deemed should be on 150mm actually do fit on a 120mm, with a little bit of base play, so that's the compromise we've reached.

Cheers

Fair enough. 120mm is big enough really. Going any bigger would probably cause practicality issues with terrain anyway.

Well todays update says we're now going to be a little late (20th May)

but with several figures (Beowa as man and bear, Torku, Mawdred and Aradae Mawr) making the 1st shipment that they'd originally planned for later waves

which as I'm getting some of those is a fair trade ;)

Yes, I think more than fair, and after seeing those WiP pic's of Torku I'm starting to serriously consifder her, I didn't like the concept art to much, but the sculpted translation looks great :)
