Mierce Miniatures

Hi all

I have the Brythoniaid (Gwynedd) battle host.

I'm yet to play at all, but even just collectiing the miniatures, i'd like to have a force that works on the tabletop.

TLDR; What would you add to make a decent list?

Your dyndraig/cawrdraig are wild and have a fairly low skill compared to humans. I've leaned into rhelfwr as the bulk of my force, as they have volley shoot. Teulu are elite, and can effectively pull off some things like falling back in the face of a charge. If you don't want to double up, both of the "new" archer units are pretty good. You'll probably want to add another warchief to lead them.

You can run the non-draig parts of your force as Gwynedd, Powys, or Ceredigon. Going Powys would let you mix in dynwocor as some heavy hitters. The dynwocor hunters don't have a profiles (in first edition), so you might want to steer clear of them. As much as I like the Dewindraig, he's really hard to fit into a non-Gwaelod host.

In game, you'll stick your Abad into one of the units of humans to make them fearless and hate non-humans.

That is an excellent addition. Gives you another unit of men, a warchief, and some monstrous infantry.

My first thought as a Brythoniaid player is, what models or theme do you want to use? This can really push you in the right direction as I found mixing the monstrous realms dilutes their strengths a tad.

I like the monstrous infantry that came with the host I have, the big guy and the 60mm monsters.

The humans are pretty cool models too really
