Hey guys,
been tinkering on a list. These are all the models I own or will own shortly when their shipping wave comes up.
Command 1
- Gul-Gabrax Tain 113 points uncommon authority: 75
- Gabrax x 10 220 points mainstay authority: 12
* Free command 0 points
* Heavy armour 10 points
- Reiver x 10 140 points common authority: 15
Command 2
- Gabrax Tain 71 points common authority: 66
* Skull Bearer 14 points
- Gul-Gabrax x 5 225 points common(2) authority: 20
* Full command 31 points
* Heavy armour 10 points
Command 3
- Gabrax Warlock 58 points uncommon authority: 53
* Darkstone 15 points
* Blizzard blind 8 points
* Frozen blood 23 points
- Kraacken 465 points rare authority: 49
Command 4
- Sronax Tain 171 points uncommon authority: 58
- Sronax x 4 412 points mainstay(2) authority: 25
* free command 0 points
* light armour 8 points
Grand total of 1998 points. 3 mainstay, 3 uncommon, 4 common and 1 rare.
Is my interpretation correct that the Sronax tain makes Sronax mainstay(2)?
Let me know what you think.
Cheers,
Krikke.

Hi,
You're correct regarding the Mainstay(2) thing.
There's nothing wrong with the list per say but my main concerns would be;
Lack of real ranged output, small units with low threat ranges, little support for the Sronax unit in terms of magic.
You can get far more from the list by dropping one of the units (Gabrax, Gul-Gabrax, Reivers) and using the points to get another wizard, change the spells for the long range nukes (Ice Shards, Shardlings) and maybe one of the +Arm Spells. Using any other points to bulk up the remaining units. Will give you far more survive ability and more damage output. Darklands is different to most other games, you need activations to gain an advantage that way but also need units big enough to be abl to take a hit and hit back hard.

Re: Fomoraic 2K
My first thought is you would need to swap which command the two gabarax units are under unless you aren't using the gul gaborax's compel ability. my second though would be to move the wizard and kraaken under another commander too as currently I would look at that wizard and know I'm safe from his spells until at least turn 2 most likely 3 depending on deployment/movement as his threat range is so short so a spear of ice or shardlings will instantly make him a much greater threat. As he stands he could be picked off way too easily moving him into a different command (doesn't count against the authority) means he can also hide in a unit making him more of a pain to shift.
I will second Liam's suggestions too with the addition of use the gul gaborax to fill the common slot as they will get free command freeing 31 gold instantly for you to use on other stuff.

Re: Fomoraic 2K
It's a better list for sure. Using the Scion is an easy way to get around the Mainstay Requirements which is good if you like that model.
I'd look at dropping Freezing Fog from the Scion as you won't really use it, same with Secreted Arm and Blizzard Blind from the Gabrax Warlock. I haven't checked but with those points I think you can pick up another longer ranged spell for the Gabrax Warlock and maybe just snatch a Gul-Gabrox for the Gabrax, makes them go though targets you wouldn't expect. The other option if that doesn't work is to pick up shields for the Reivers, having that parry benifit vs most other shooting really means that they can win most shooting wars. Generally the group I'm playing with is much of the same feeling that shields are needed on ranged units when theres an option for them to have them.
