Tartarus edge artefact

How do you calculate the tatarus edge 2h option attack die as it says equal, but the neither the demiurions or options have access to a base 2h weapon, do you just use the same amount of attack die as you would 1h, or do you combine both their weapons to figure out how many die you get?

A good point well made!

It should be equal -1 for the two-handed version. I'll amend

Piggybacking onto this; when 1/2h artefact weapons add dice, they always have the traditional one less - are both added onto the 1h profile, or is the 2h profile added to the original 2h option, ending up with 2 fewer dice?

So, a Teyrn's sword has 6 dice 1h, or 5 dice 2h - the artefact Dilyniant adds 5 dice 1h, and 4 dice 2h. Does this result in the Teyrn with Dilyniant Having 9 dice 2h, or 10 dice 2h compared to 11 dice 1h?

So does:
Sword
1 2 3 4 5 6 (1h) (M+W 53)
1 2 3 4 5 (2h) (M+W 62)

plus
Dilyniant
+1 2 3 4 5 (1h) (W+ 13)
+1 2 3 4 (2h) (W+ 26)

equal
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 (1h) (M+W 57)
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 (2h) (M+W 70)
(adding the 1h and 2h profiles together seperately)

or

(adding each artefact profile to the original 1h profile)?

I can't see how you'd ever be able to get 11/10! You add 5 to the 1h and 4 to the 2h, so it's 11 / 9.

Okay to propse another point here, if im loosing dice and sacrificing X amount of dice from my second weapon why take this item, because a Demiurion has a damage potential of 18 wounds without any artefacts, if i take tatarus edge and loose a dice with 2h option, his damage potential becomes 15 so he actually becomes less killy

Well, he gains a ridiculous amount of M+W, and an extra damage die, so I'm not sure how you think he's less killy.

Well his potential wounds to be caused by his base axe and sword is 18
His potential when using that 2handed is 15

As a demiurion has 6 attacks with his axe at 2 wounds each
And 6 attacks with his sword at 1 wound each

If he 2handers the tartarus edge axe he will only get 5 attack die at 3 wounds each

Again, he has higher M+W with the edge, so it balances out, in my view.
