Compel (X) and Influence (X)
Compel (X) and Influence (X)
Hi all
both rule says
" may muster units from the same realm as that general with the title (x) "
so must i explicit in the roster if i want to use the Compel/Influence rule?
Cheers

You can take units at either their compelled/influenced ubiquity or their 'natural' ubiquity so it would probably be enough to state in your list what ubiquity you are counting them as but you could mark them 'compelled' or 'influenced'

Correct; the word "may" is there (rather than "must") because "may" gives you much more flexibility.
Additionally, lore-wise you should always think of your host as being comprised of different commands, the commander of which may come from a different area of the region and who may not be able to influence his units in the same way as another commander might.

Re: Compel (X) and Influence (X)
On Influence - the Oghurithne Mormaer and Umaer have Influence (Oghurithne Unund). Does this mean that if I want to take an Unund at Common Ubiquity it has to be as an individual within the Mormaer/Umaer's command? (or within another Mormaer/Umaer with the Influence (Oghurithne Unund) ability of course).
It's what I presume, but I thought I'd check as the Compel/Influence rules only mention 'Units' which is what has thrown me a little.

A single warrior is a unit, no need to take him as an individual.

Cheers Rob - whatever the case I take the Unund within the Mormaer/Umaer's command and not as a commander in his own right?

Re: Compel (X) and Influence (X)
Hello, one additional questions. If unit is common2 will it become mainstay2 under compel?
Re: Compel (X) and Influence (X)
Only if the commander has Compel (unit (2))
Re: Compel (X) and Influence (X)
So , if unit is uncommon 2 and commander has compel(unit) it will become just mainstay?
