Unseen x"

Postby cwesterman13 » Mon May 23, 2022 6:17 am

Having CTRL-F'd the rulebook pdf several times to find this rule; without success, the closest i've found is this:

Warriors that are partially seen are still seen but only if the
sighting warrior is within a certain distance of them.
Sometimes a rule or effect can impose this, but more often
than not it is terrain that ensures warriors can only be seen
within a certain distance.
This will be noted, either on a warrior's profile (or via a rule
or effect) as seen n”, meaning that a partially seen warrior has
a seen length of n” - i.e., he can only be seen if the sighting
warrior is within n inches from his base.

Can Unseen x" (Specifically Unseen 6") therefore be assumed to be the reverse - that the warrior is unseen if the (would-be) sighting warrior is within 6"?

Did you look in the index?

P126 explains it all.

Page 126 defines unseen; but nothing about unseen x" - there is no frame of reference for unseen to have a distance-based qualifier; only for seen to have one

Ah yes of course, it should be seen x", not unseen x" - I'll change that on the profiles; although unseen still fits the bill for artefacts that make people invisible.

Thanks, the one that inspired the question is Cadwaladr, if that helps

Yeah, that would be seen 6" in his case.

Keep up the good work here!
