Q: Vulnerable

Postby jereme » Wed Oct 18, 2023 7:49 pm

As it appears in the rules, Vulnerable reads:
Warriors that are Vulnerable to a particular type of damage suffer continuous effects far more easily than others. For such warriors, hit (strike, shot, or invoke) rolls of an 8 or 9 from weapons or invocations causing damage they are vulnerable to will cause effect damage. A bound unit, mounted warrior or war engine only has the 'vulnerable' trait if the Binding unit, rider or crew have it.

This is in conflict with the description of diabolic, ethereal, incorporeal, and unliving, all of which have vulnerable (blessed). Blessed has no continuous effect. Perhaps it should say "rolls of an 8 or 9 ... will cause fated hits.

It also appears that there should be traits like vulnerable (x) to represent the cases where a damage type causes vicious damage based on body trait. I believe Diabolic would have Sensitive (blessed), Incorporeal and Ethereal would have sensitive (blessed, sorcerous, soul)
