This really ought to be in Players and Community to be honest. Maybe even a new subforum. I'll move it.

Still plenty of spaces left for this, would be great to see more people come to roll dice and put their gorgeous models on the table.

Hi Guys, we're now on the countdown to the third 'Skirmish at Coffa Tree' kindly organised and hosted by Jonathon Chester!

This is a perfect opportunity to bring a friend and introduce them to the Darklands game as you play. Of course, once they get hooked, they'll want to join you at a later event in a beginners doubles battle!!

**Important dates**
As spaces are now limited, as we have more people responding, it's important that you register your intention to go, through this forum or the facebook event post by 10th May 2018.
Payment will then be required by 15th June 2018.
There are payment and essential event details in the link below.

**We cannot secure your place until payment has been made.**

Once the places have gone, they're gone!

So be quick to come and hone your play skills and have the opportunity to ask Rob Lane about details of the rules, miniatures, new releases etc!! Joanna Lane :D

Hey guys,

I'd like to come down and "have the opportunity to ask Rob Lane (and others!) about details of the rules, miniatures, new releases etc!! but I certainly won't be playing in one of the games. I don't think I'll have my Mini's done tbh, nor the rules down pat...

Anyway, would it be worthwhile for a non-player to travel to the event? Would there be an opportunity to pick any stuff up (models, tokens, etc) from Rob if ordered via the web prior to?

Would there be time for any attendees to answer rule questions, discuss painting/basing?

Cheers!

Hi Mate,

There will be a fair few people learning the rules playing and as long as your minis are built you'd be more than welcome to play!

You'd need to ask Rob about collecting products, best send an email on that one direct as I'm unsure how soon he'd spot this with Hammerhead so close.

On your last point I'm sure there would be plenty of time both in the breaks and pre and post event chat.

I'll be playing Geoff but I'll always answer any rules questions; just bear in mind I may not be able to during a game, but I can certainly talk your ears off inbetween games or after the event!

You will definitely pick the rules up by watching!

Cheers
Rob

I'll be there, as most likely will be my gaming buddy (or Foe!) Doubt I'll have any models ready but I'm more than happy to watch and learn throughout the day.

Do your mini's have to be painted to play?

I'm also not completely up to speed on all the Gameplay, such as Positioning, Terrain Placing, and Orders, but most of the other Apprentice Rules and some of the Journeyman rules im ok at, would it be worthwhile me coming?

Also, I can't seem to access the Dropbox link, is there another way of getting this information?

Hi,

Painting is not required but you're not able to win the painting prize if its unpainted of course.

It would be more than worth while as we have Rob, Danny and myself who would be considered more experienced (Rob wrote the rules so I'd hope he is a master! ) and a couple are still in the learning phase but have a solid grip on the same sections of the rules so a good mix to help build your knowledge where possible:)

How odd if you can PM me your email I will forward the pack and FAQ to yourself if I can't get the link working right.

After chatting with Rob and a good think I have decided to take out the part of the pack for orders to be submitted with the lists. We will be following the rules on pages 116 & 117 as per normal.

Apologies for any confusion.
